When cacao is used in raw form that is without adding sugar and dairy then, it is said to be a super food. It contains vitamins A, B, C and D, beta carotene and minerals such as magnesium, calcium, sodium and zinc.  Raw cacao will improve your body’s energy. Consumption of cacao is considered to be only in chocolate forms but it can be taken in many other forms also.

The raw cacao is initially compressed and then it turns into a dense cacao paste. The layer on the above is removed and the residue is said to be the cacao powder.
